Gitika Talwar

Dr. Gitika Talwar is a licensed Clinical-Community Psychologist and founder of Prāṇh Healing & Wellness PLLC in Seattle. She holds an M.A. in Social Psychology from the University of Mumbai and a Ph.D. in Community-Clinical Psychology from UMBC. Her practice integrates psychology, spirituality, neuroscience, and somatics, with a deep focus on decolonial and social justice perspectives.

With experience in India and the US, she has supported diverse populations, including asylum seekers, refugees, and urban tribal communities. Dr. Talwar utilizes various therapeutic models such as Brainspotting, DBT, and Narrative Therapy, emphasizing cultural humility and systemic context. Multilingual and an advocate against structural violence, she focuses on the intersectional impacts of caste, race, and immigration status to create community-centered healing spaces.
